Identify the major product Y from the following reaction

Alkyl halides on reaction with magnesium metals produces a Grignard reagent. These Grignards reagents reacts with carbon dioxide followed acidification produces respective carboxylic acid. The carboxylic acid formed can be reduced by lithium aluminium hydride to give a primary alcohol.
