Identify the correct variation of pressure and volume of a real gas $(A)$ and an ideal gas $(B)$ at constant temperature.

Solution
Ideal gas equation $=p V=n R T$
On rearranging $p=\frac{n R T}{V}$ or $V=\frac{n R T}{p}$
i.e. $p \propto \frac{1}{V}$ or $V \propto \frac{1}{p}$
is correct plot.
At low pressures, the real gas shows very small deviation from ideal behaviour and the curve for ideal gas and real gas almost coincides. There is a large deviation from ideal gas behaviour at high pressure, hence the curve are far apart.
