How many lone pair of electrons are present on chlorine atom in hypochlorous acid?

How many lone pair of electrons are present on chlorine atom in hypochlorous acid?
  1. $1$
  2. $3$
  3. $2$
  4. $4$

Solution

Structure of HCIO : In this chlorine atom is $\mathrm{sp}^{3}$ hybridised. Outer electronic configuration of $\mathrm{Cl}$ in $\mathrm{ClO}^{-}$after $\mathrm{sp}^{3}$ hybridisation.
Shape is tetra hedral with 3 lone pairs (or) linear. No $\pi$ - bonds.
