Solution

At steady state current will not pass through capacitor, therefore effective resistance between B and C will be only 1 Ω. Modified circuit will be as shown below.

  iAB=63=2 A  and  iAD=612=0.5 A

Applying Kirchoff's law along path BAD, we get

  VB+2×2-10×0.5=VD

 VB-VD=1 V.
