Find the number of electrons that generate 1 coulomb charge ?

Find the number of electrons that generate 1 coulomb charge ?
  1. $\quad 6.24 \times 10^{18}$
  2. $1.25 \times 10^{18}$
  3. $6.22 \times 10^{23}$
  4. $3.12 \times 10^{18}$

Solution

Charge on $1 \mathrm{e}^{-}=1.602 \times 10^{-19}$ coulomb. $\therefore \quad$ Number of electrons having total charge of $1 \text {coulomb }=\frac{1}{1.602 \times 10^{-19}}=6.242 \times 10^{18}$
