Consider the following: 1. 1000 litres = 1 m³ 2. 1 metric ton = 1000 kg 3. 1 hectare = 10000 m² Which of the above are correct?
  1. 1 and 2 only
  2. 2 and 3 only
  3. 1 and 3 only
  4. 1, 2 and 3

Solution

All three conversions are standard and correct: 1000 litres equals 1 cubic metre, 1 metric ton equals 1000 kg, and 1 hectare equals 10000 square metres. Hence all of statements 1, 2 and 3 are correct.
