Solution

In adiabatic process, no heat transfer takes place between gas and surrounding i.e., $\Delta Q=0$ From definition of specific heat, $C=\frac{\Delta Q}{m \Delta T}=0$ Again, for isothermal process, $\Delta T=0$ $\therefore \quad C=\frac{\Delta Q}{m \Delta T}=\infty$ .
