Aqueous solution of which of the following compounds is the best conductor of electric current?
Aqueous solution of which of the following compounds is the best conductor of electric current?
Acetic acid, $\mathrm{C}_{2} \mathrm{H}_{4} \mathrm{O}_{2}$ Hydrochloric acid, HCl Ammonia, $\mathrm{NH}_{3}$ Fructose, $\mathrm{C}_{6} \mathrm{H}_{12} \mathrm{O}_{6}$
Solution
$\mathrm{HCl}$ completely dissociates to give $\mathrm{H}^{+}$ and $\mathrm{Cl}^{-}$ ions, hence act as very good electrolyte. While others are non- electrolytes.
