An object is thrown vertically upwards. At its maximum height, which of the following quantity becomes zero ?
  1. Momentum
  2. Potential energy
  3. Acceleration
  4. Force

Solution

When a ball is thrown vertically upwards, at the maximum height the velocity is zero.

As momentum is p=mv, so momentum is also zero at maximum height.
