As we know, internal energy of one mole of the gas Un=nRT2.

Clearly, Unn, where n is degree of freedom. Therefore, as n increases, Un also increases.

Now, speed of sound in gas

Clearly, as n increases and vn decreases.

Hence,

U7>U5 and U7>U6

and v5>v7.
