Power rating of zener diode =1.6 W

From the diagram above,

VA-VB=8 V

Power is given by

 P=Vi⇒i=1.6 W8 V=0.2 A

Also, VC-VA=10 V-8 V=2 V

Thus, using Ohm's law,

Rs=2 V0.2 A=10 Ω
