R0=1 Ω  R1=

0=1 m  1=1.25 m

A0=A

As volume of wire remains constant so

A00=A11A1=0 A01

Now, Resistance R=ρA

R0R1=0/A0ρ1/A1

1R1=0 A00 A01×1R1=1202=1.5625 Ω

So % change in resistance

=R1-R0R0×100%

=1.5625-11×100%

=56.25%
