Solution

Convert the ratio $\dfrac{1}{2} : \dfrac{3}{4} : \dfrac{5}{6}$ to a common denominator 12: $\dfrac{6}{12} : \dfrac{9}{12} : \dfrac{10}{12} = 6 : 9 : 10$. Total parts $= 25$. Each part $= 2500/25 = 100$. Shares: X = 600, Y = 900, Z = 1000. Difference between max (1000) and min (600) = ₹ 400.
