If u is the initial velocity of bullet then after passing through one plank the velocity became v=u-u25=24u25

Using kinematic equation for uniform acceleration motion, v2-u2=2as

If n number of planks are required to bring the bullet at rest then, v=0

0-u2=2ans-u2=n-49u2625n=62549=12.75 or 13
