Solution

The current through the circuit as $ \begin{aligned} & i=\frac{V}{Z} \\ & =\frac{V}{\sqrt{R^2+\left(X_L-X_C\right)^2}}=\frac{100}{\sqrt{(0)^2+(50-120)^2}} \\ & =\frac{100}{\sqrt{1600+900}}=2 A \end{aligned} $
