A resistor develops 300 J of thermal energy in 15 s, when a current of 2 A is passed through it. If the current increases to 3 A, the energy developed in 10 s is _____ J.

Energy produced is given by H=i2Rt

When i=2 A, t=15 s, energy is H=300=22×R×15

Resistance is R=5 Ω

When i=3 A, t=10 s.

Energy is H'=32×5×10=450 J
