Isotopes are those atoms which have same atomic number and difference mass number ${ }_{\mathrm{z}}^{\mathrm{A}} \mathrm{X} \rightarrow \mathrm{z}_{\mathrm{Z}} \mathrm{Y}^{\mathrm{A}}+\alpha+2 \beta$ Hence $1 \alpha$ and $2 \beta$ particles will emit for the decay of isotope.
