A current of 15 mA flows in the circuit as shown in figure. The value of potential difference between the points A and B will be

Solution

Using current division rule, 

Current, i1=510+5×15 mA=5 mA

Now, using Kirchhoff's voltage law- in lower loop,

VA-5i-10i1-10i=VB

Potential difference between A and B is VA-VB=75+50+150=275 V
