A bag contains 7 green and 5 black balls. 3 balls are drawn at random one after the other. If the balls are not replaced, then the probability of all three balls being green is
  1. 3431720
  2. 2136
  3. 1235
  4. 744

Solution

Given,

A bag contains 7 green and 5 black balls,

Now 3 balls are drawn at random one after the other, so number of ways in which we can get green ball without replacement will be C17×C16×C15=7×6×5

Now total ways of selecting 3 balls without replacement will be C112×C111×C110=12×11×10

Now the probability of all three balls being green is 7×6×512×11×10=744
